Sev1Tech is looking for a Help Desk Specialist for the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Ordnance Information System (OIS) project based out of Yorktown, VA. This mission critical roll supports the Customer Fleet Support Center (CFSC) / OIS Retail Partial Connectivity (RPC) and Alteration Install Team (AIT) as well as the Customer Support Center (CSC). OIS Help Desk Specialists are responsible for the IT-related service requests, and the service incidents and problems for the customer’s IT business and mission-focused systems. The Help Desk Specialist will be directly responsible for receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user submitted requests.   Primary Responsibilities:    The Help Desk Specialist's primary responsibilities include: - Assisting customers with all Tier I (and some Tier II) helpdesk actions such as administration and functions within OIS, including application support, corrective actions, access, and procedural support. - Addressing all questions and determining a resolution to any problem that site personnel have concerning the use of the OIS hardware, software, and applications. As appropriate, CFSC will engage other functional teams as required. Voicemail will be used to receive help calls during the non-manned hours and weekends. All help calls shall be recorded in the designated ticket tracking system for future recall and analysis. - Supplying CFSC metrics to the Government on a monthly basis. Monthly statistics of the number of calls per site and the number of calls for each category of call (i.e., functional, program, informational, system, hardware, and logistics) shall also be provided as an addendum to the monthly financial status report. - Ensuring customer support shall be in accordance with best business practices. - Assist all OIS Customers in gaining and maintaining their OIS access. - Route System User Access Request for the users with the OIS team. The contractor shall support the User in obtaining their User access with the required completion and submission of required OIS access request forms and System Authorization Access Request (SAAR-N) (OPNAV Form 5239/14 (Rev 9/2011). This task includes, but is not limited to: - Reviewing all required documents for accuracy, if there are any errors CSC will coordinate with the users and/or their supervisor to verify and/or correct paperwork. - Submitting all required paperwork to the OIS POCs for review and approval. - Completing the access process and notifying the customer and their supervisor once access has been granted. - Following up with the user if there are any issues with the access and correcting any errors. - Once the user has access, the contractor shall input all required information into the OIS Customer List and Access Request forms (AARF) Tracking Sheet Spreadsheets in order to provide Metrics, maintain OIS Email Distribution lists, and Customer Data as required. Be responsible for providing daily metrics to the CSC Team Lead. - Ensure account deletions are processed and closed with-in 3 business days of receipt. - Archive all completed OIS Access Request forms (AARF) with all required documentation. These forms will be maintained indefinitely. - Send approved OIS Distribution email messages to the OIS community, as required. - Receive and respond to NAVY311 (or future NAVSUP help desk) Call Center tickets. These tickets will be for account issues, questions, or just guidance within OIS. Work with customer until the issue has been resolved – follow up with the individual as necessary. - Contact each individual within one (1) business day of receiving the call center ticket. Refer users to the NAVY311 (or future NAVSUP help desk) call center to place a ticket and/or resolve the issue or answer the question(s).
