Sev1Tech is looking for a Tier 2 Technical Team Lead to provide daily management and oversight to a team of technicians providing support for a 24x7x365 Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) on a large government program.    Responsible for providing technical guidance, knowledgeable consulting, and leadership to staff for taking remedial actions to correct network outages, latencies, and issues pertaining to network performance, the NOSC Tier 2 Technical Team Lead will accomplish the following action items though not limited to: - Oversee 24x7x365 Tier 2 operations, including the supervision, motivation, and development of a team of technicians - Ensure effective analysis, technical expertise, and troubleshooting beyond those available at Tier 1 level as required for incident response, resolution, and recovery related to network management, cloud, and cybersecurity issues - Provide continuous tracking and reporting of network component failures and escalations through resolution and restoration of service - Measure vendor responses to Tier 2 issues against established SLAs/SOOs - Maintain communication between and among stakeholders, developing situational awareness reports to the Government Watch Officer, and further to Tier 3 or other escalation structures as needed - Manage staff schedules to ensure coverage for ongoing operations and surge events while meeting all contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) - Provide guidance to staff in capturing, documenting, and taking appropriate action on each incident - Provide information and status updates to team leadership on priority incidents - Develop and maintain staff training plan - Adjust staff schedules as needed to ensure optimal coverage and minimize response time - Identify performance improvement opportunities and implement improvement actions in coordination with and as approved by the leadership team - Escalate issues that will have a negative impact to operations as needed - Maintain, continuously assess, and recommend improvements to Tier 2 SOPs - Serve as a primary interface with Component NOCs/SOCs, Service providers, and vendors

The Network Analyst will work in a Customs & Border Protection’s (CBP) Enterprise Network Architecture & Engineering support services contract (ENAESS) on client site in Springfield VA supporting the Video Teleconference (VTC) Operations and Engineering efforts.   The Network Analyst II (VTC Support) will potentially be required to travel both CONUS and OCONUS deploying to CBP Field Sites for onsite support in the event that it is necessary.   Working on a team consisting of Network Architects & Engineers supporting the CBP network, the Network Analyst II (VTC Support) must have the ability to:  - Ability to familiarize with network topology and basic data flow - Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot issues related to video conferencing endpoints and basic networking issues (Cisco, Polycom, Avaya, etc) - Provide support to end users to ensure a positive user experience - Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and administrative actions for management equipment dedicated to video conferencing systems. Sev1Tech is looking for a Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) Tier 1 Specialist to play an integral role on a large enterprise IT government program providing network, cybersecurity, cloud operations, and engineering support services with a significant focus to provide IT security and public safety.    The Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) Tier 1 Specialist will accomplish the following but are not limited to: - Monitor network, security, system, and cloud environments for events and perform triage analysis to identify or prevent incidents; perform network, security, system, and cloud incident response as needed - Respond to incidents by collecting, analyzing, preserving digital evidence, and ensure that incidents are recorded and tracked in accordance with NOSC requirements - Work closely with other teams to assess and provide recommendations for reducing operational risks. - Maintain records of monitoring and incident response activities, utilizing case management and ticketing technologies such as ServiceNow - Perform monitoring and analysis using Splunk or other analytics tools - Monitor dashboards for malicious events, phishing events, spoofing events, DDoS attacks, SQL Injection events, network connectivity events, system/device performance events, and other potentially high-risk incidents - Recognize intrusion attempts and compromises through reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information - Recommend changes to SOPs and related documentation - Generate end-of-shift reports for documentation and knowledge transfer to subsequent analysts on-duty - Log all incident details and prioritization codes - Provide "touch level" Tier 1 support, including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security - Support remote access platforms such as VPN and Terminal Services - Assign unresolved incidents to higher Tier support or internet service providers and product vendors to coordinate restoration of service and obtain the necessary information for recording/tracking the outage or degradation of service - Keep component NOCs and SOCs informed of their incident's status at agreed intervals and continuously update incidents as needed - Notify Government Leads and other stakeholders of high impact/priority failures using the appropriate escalation procedures
