Sev1Tech is seeking a Sr. Thermal/Fluids Engineer to support NASA's Moon to Mars (M2M) initiatives, including the Human Landing System (HLS) and the International Space Station (ISS). In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of thermal and fluid systems critical to human spaceflight and exploration.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thermal design and analysis for NASA space systems, including HLS and ISS.

• Develop and support thermal test setups, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate thermal and fluid systems into overall spacecraft design.

• Utilize tools such as Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, and NX Team Center for modeling and simulation.

• Ensure compliance with NASA standards and MSFC specifications.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering, or related field from an ABET-accredited institution.

• Ph.D. with a minimum of 4 years, Master’s with at least 8 years, or Bachelor’s with at least 10 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in thermal test setup support and execution.

• Experience with Thermal Desktop, SINDA/FLUINT, and NX Team Center.

• Knowledge of orbital thermal environment development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with NASA standards and MSFC specifications.​
