Proposal - Intern

As the Proposal Intern you will participate in all phases of the technically-oriented proposal process, including opportunity reviews, proposal strategy planning, research, writing, and maintenance of proposal content assets and archives to ensure that all materials are customer-focused and clearly articulate compelling business value.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Production editing of company procedural documents, guides, and policies to ensure that they conform to basic or standard style, structure and formats specified
• Design, layout, and production of authored materials, including the creation of briefings, charts, diagrams, reports, and other visual elements
• Meet proposal deadlines, and ensure all contributors submit required data on time
• Must adhere to document revision control measures, practices (e.g., numbering methodology and change control)
• Perform other duties as required

• A Junior, Senior, or College Student
• Strong aptitude for understanding hardware/software engineering concepts
• Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, Acrobat and proposal-focused databases
• Ability to manage multiple proposals and meet all deadlines
• Ability to collaborate with others on proposals and has superb written and oral communication skills

• Prefer candidates who have completed or are taking ENC 4212-Profeissional & Technical Editing
