Telecommunications Specialist

Sev1Tech seeks a Telecommunications Specialist to provide support to PM Tactical Radio (PM TR) to perform property management tasks associated with the fielding and training of C5ISR systems to units. The Telecommunications Specialist plans, develops and executes logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life cycle of product.  Expert in developing and implementing logistics program activities including technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; coordinates efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.

Serves as a Telecommunications Specialist responsible for ensuring development of all elements within assigned systems. Oversees planning, implementation, providing logistics support for tests and field exercises. Develops the initial Plans for assigned system(s) and oversees the development of other logistics and technical planning activities. The selected candidate should have experience with Database applications, Automation, Share Point, Power BI, Force Management System Website (FMSWEB), Total Package Fielding (TPF), Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE)/Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A) transactions for systems being fielded.

• Ten (10) years of fielding experience in military systems. 
• Four (4) years military service (E6 or higher) may be considered as military training experience.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and be capable of obtaining a SECRET security clearance.
• Demonstrated experience facilitating small and large group training activities to achieve desired training outcomes in both in-person and virtual/on-line classroom environments.
• Assesses, designs, and conceptualizes training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculums, and other state of the art technologies related to training and behavioral studies.
• Must be capable of instructing personnel from prepared course material and facilitate Practical Exercises (PEs).
• Must be experienced in electronic maintenance and troubleshooting utilizing schematics, multi-meters, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic equipment.
• Must be worldwide deployable and possess a valid US Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a valid passport within 30 days of employment.

Travel requirements will be up to 20% of the year to include CONUS and OCONUS locations, with the possibility of as little as 48 hours’ notice prior to a deployment.  Candidates must qualify to rent a vehicle from various national rental car agencies

Physical Requirements: Due to the physical nature of the program, candidates must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds at shoulder height and 60 pounds at waist height for 50 feet.
