Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is seeking a Product Support Manager (ITSM processes/planning, Training analysis, support/help desk design) to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) which manages the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio. This portfolio is composed of 300+ afloat and ashore IT systems/applications with 150,000+ users across all Naval Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Naval Operational Forces (NOF) to include ships, carriers, submarines, USN/USMC aviation squadrons, and Naval Expeditionary Forces. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a joint user of LOG IT capabilities and is part of the program requirements. LOG IT enables essential business operations for various capability groups.

The Product Support Manager will be member of the Product Support Team.

Job duties would include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting Tier 3 support activities. 

  • Ensure requests are being managed, tracked and resolved. 
  • Manages and leads overall logistics related activities to include planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Manages capability support planning and life cycle sustainment efforts to include requirements, training, deployment, site implementation, and Change Management (OCM), to ensure full and proper implementation of solutions across the life cycle of the program.

  • Manage help desk, intake, processing and resolution of tickets. 
  • Interfaces with the government customer and other teams to coordinate support requirements while managing maintenance activities.
  • Motivating staff to perform in a highly effective way while ensuring compliance with USN operational security controls, contract policies, and procedures while meeting or exceeding operational SLA requirements.
  • Writing, reviewing and maintaining documentation regarding processes and procedures as well as for new and existing technical projects.
  • Understanding customer needs and able to deliver on those requirements.
  • Overseeing the accuracy and timely delivery of daily and monthly availability reports.
  • Working with Task/Team Leads and the customer to implement Best Practices for the enterprise services operations processes which fall within the scope of the contract.
  • Managing and supporting escalation of issues between program and government teams.
  • Ensuring projects are properly supported, planned and integrated with the overall work load.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or college.
  • MUST have Current US DoD Secret level clearance.
  • Three (3) years of specialized experience as a Senior Logistician or Product Support Manager for a Federal or DoD enterprise IT program, supporting the integrated logistics life cycle associated with the design, product support, and implementation of IT.

Desired Qualifications

  • US Navy logistics experience.
