Sr. Cyber Security Engineer

Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to provide cybersecurity, engineering, deployment, and integration support to protect, and defend information and information systems (IS) by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. They will also provide technical leadership and expertise for Enterprise-wide cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, sustainment, and the life cycle support to the war-fighter, DoD, joint and federal customers.

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, DoN and DoD IT Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management to include:  Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
• Navy Validator experience and current Certification: NQV Level I, II, or III.
• Three (3) years of technical experience in support of information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects.
• Experience with Navy RMF
• Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
• Experience using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, PowerShell) to manage systems.
• Perform hands-on technical security risk assessments to identify flaws, threats and risks in emerging IT projects, and develop technical in-depth engineering solutions to address and mitigate risks.
