Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Billing Analyst to produce timely and accurate invoices in accordance with company policies, Contracts, the Federal Acquisition Regulations, GAAP, Federal and State taxation authorities:

  • Create and analyze monthly and semi-monthly invoices and related reports for FFP, Time and Materials and Cost-Plus invoicing for the government and commercial sectors.
  • Maintain current invoicing data and files.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • A/R Collections. 

Duties/Accountabilities: 

  • Ensure invoices are prepared in compliance with contract requirements.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of invoicing.
  • Respond to billing inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assists and acts as backup and support for all staff functions as needed.
  • Generates schedules and reports using excel and Unanet as needed.

  • Required to regularly sit, walk, and/or stand throughout various times during the day.

  • Position may require individual to work beyond the normal workday to support time sensitive projects.

Compensation:  up to $55,000.00 DOE

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 0 - 1 year of recent work experience in support of a US Government Contractor.
  • 0-1 year of experience with job costing and accounting software systems. Unanet experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong skills in standard desktop applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Strong Communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve results amicably with and through others.
  • Team player who thrives on getting the job done through individual and team efforts.
  • Inquisitive by nature and seeks out root causes for issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to delve into the details and mechanics while keeping a view on the high-level goals of the organization.
  • Flexible and adaptable with a solid understanding of the various functions, roles, responsibilities, and processes of a finance and accounting department in the government space.
  • Ability to interact positively with internal and external stakeholders and all levels.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of FAR and CAS accounting concepts and principles.
