Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Senior DevSecOps Engineers (PlatformOne Team) at Sev1Tech are platform team developers who develop and manage the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications. Considered a "generalist" on CI/CD pipeline and security requirements with strong knowledge of the platform. This is a remote position with minimal travel requirements.

Must be experienced in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools. Experienced in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications in Kubernetes. Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines. Working knowledge of Software Build process. A DevSecOps Engineer on the Platform One team should have a passion for building and maintaining automation for a large Platform One enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications. Strong "security first" mindset.

• US Secret Security Clearance
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience developing and managing the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications using automation techniques and tools to include: Bash/Shell Scripting, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or Jenkins.
• BS. in Computer Science, Math, or similar degree
• Five years of experience as a major contributor in a DevSecOps environment utilizing heavy containerization experience – Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Gitlab, or similar tools

• Seven (7) years' experience developing and managing the CI/CD pipelines of a wide variety of applications using automation techniques and tools to include: Bash/Shell Scripting, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or Jenkins.
• Recent experience completing high-visibilty DevSecOps projects for DoD
