Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Be a part of the only operationally deployed missile defense program capable of defending the entire US homeland. Use your Systems Engineering knowledge and experience to integrate, test, sustain and protect the safety of our families, neighbors, communities and nation.

 

  • Develop, deliver, and maintain Element Specialty Engineering Analysis Execution Plans aligned with the Element Analysis Execution Plan.
  • Coordinate and execute specialized engineering analyses within the Element Digital Model, following Element Specialty Engineering Analysis Execution Plans.
  • Document processes for capturing and managing specialty engineering data within the Element Digital Model.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Element survivability analyses according to Element Specialty Engineering Analysis Execution Plans and Element Survivability Program Plan.
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of Element Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing analyses, and integrate results into the Element Digital Model.
  • Conduct Maintenance Built-in-Tests (MBITs) analyses, document findings and recommendations in the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability (RAMT) database linked to the Element Digital Engineering Model.
  • Manage Component BIT analyses and reports from contractors, maintaining a database linked to the Element Digital Model.
  • Analyze parametric data from BIT events, identifying trends, degradation patterns, and design-related effects, and provide technical insights to the RAMT database with links to the Element Digital Model.
  • Perform reliability analyses on hardware, software, and firmware, delivering results in the RAMT database (CDRL A046).
  • Execute Element Fault Tree Analyses, systematically incorporating results into the Element Digital Model.
  • Lead Element Finite Element Analyses, ensuring effective integration of outcomes within the Element Digital Model.
  • Conduct Element Sneak Circuit Analyses, integrate results into the Element Digital Model.
  • Oversee Element Worst Case Circuit Analyses, documenting findings in the Element Digital Model.
  • Coordinate and execute Worst Case Circuit Analyses for Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), Special Test Equipment (STE), and Special Instrumentation Equipment (SIE) within the Element Digital Model.
  • Execute Mechanical Stress Analyses for combined interceptor-silo configurations, document within the Element Digital Model.
  • Lead planning and execution of Finite Element Analysis for combined interceptor-silo configurations, integrate results into the Element Digital Model.
  • Plan and execute Thermal Stress Analysis for combined interceptor-silo configurations, document outcomes within the Element Digital Model.
  • Oversee Mechanical Stress Analyses for PSE, STE, and SIE, ensuring integration into the Element Digital Model.
  • Execute Finite Element Analyses for PSE, STE, and SIE, facilitating integration into the Element Digital Model.
  • Plan and execute Thermal Stress Analyses for PSE, STE, and SIE, documenting within the Element Digital Model.
  • Lead Element Electrical and Electronic Stress Analyses, integrate findings into the Element Digital Model.
  • Oversee Electrical and Electronic Stress Analyses for PSE, STE, and SIE, ensure integration into the Element Digital Model.
  • Collaborate in creating an integrated Element Electrical and Electronic Stress Analyses
  • Integrate and maintain Component developers’ Monte Carlo reliability test data and reports on the IDDE for Element verification.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Secret US Security clearance required to start 
  • MUST BE US CITIZEN FOR GOVERNMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 4-9 or more years of experience in electrical engineering analysis
