Logistician, Senior Lead

Sev1Tech is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Lead Logistician to join our program leadership team. As a Senior Lead Logistician, you will provide strategic direction, oversee complex logistical operations, and lead a high-performing team to ensure the seamless flow of materials and services within our program.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic logistics plans aligned with programmatic goals. Provide insights and recommendations on procurement strategies, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee and optimize the entire supply chain, including procurement, transportation, distribution, and inventory management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Monitor contracts, evaluate performance, and implement improvements to strengthen the reliability of the supply chain.
• Logistical Strategy: Contribute to the development of logistical strategies that align with project timelines, budget constraints, and program objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges related to transportation, procurement, and distribution.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistical processes. Implement innovative solutions, new technologies, and industry best practices to optimize logistics operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate record-keeping of logistical activities. Generate comprehensive reports on key performance indicators, logistics costs, and inventory turnover. Present findings to the Program Manager.

• Must have a SECRET level clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• 8-years of extensive experience as a Logistician or in a senior-level logistics role.
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience, with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
• Advanced understanding of logistics principles, supply chain processes, and inventory management.
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in a senior logistics role within a relevant industry.
