Field Service Technician, Senior

Sev1Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tactical Network Field Service Technician at the Senior level to lead our team in providing advanced technical support for tactical communication networks. As a Senior Technician, you will play a critical role in overseeing field service operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of tactical communication systems.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Mentoring: Provide leadership to the field service team, including mentoring and guiding junior technicians. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Take the lead in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to tactical communication networks. Conduct in-depth analysis and implement solutions to ensure system reliability.
• Deployment Strategy: Develop and implement deployment strategies for tactical communication equipment in various operational environments. Ensure efficient and effective deployment processes.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate the functionality and reliability of tactical network systems. Conduct thorough testing and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Technical Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, including detailed configuration guides, advanced troubleshooting procedures, and equipment inventory records.
• Training Programs: Develop and deliver advanced training programs for field service technicians and military personnel. Ensure that training aligns with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, military units, and project managers to provide expert technical insights, support integration efforts, and contribute to the overall success of tactical network projects.

• Must have a SECRET level clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• 8 years of extensive experience as a Field Service Technician in a tactical or military environment.
• Advanced knowledge of tactical communication systems, including radio networks, satellite communication, and cybersecurity principles.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills in resolving complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Military experience in a related field, with a focus on tactical communication systems.
• Certifications in advanced network technologies or related areas.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in tactical communication.
