New Equipment Training Officer, Journeyman

Sev1Tech is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Equipment Training Officer to join our team at the Journeyman level. As a New Equipment Training Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization's successful implementation and training of personnel on new technologies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Training Program Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop comprehensive training programs for new equipment and technologies. Ensure training materials are current, effective, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for personnel at various levels. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and tools to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to continuously improve and refine training initiatives.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training documentation, including training plans, manuals, and records of training sessions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordination and Logistics: Work closely with logistics and operations teams to coordinate training schedules, facilities, and resources. Ensure that training environments are conducive to effective learning.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and assistance to trainees during and after training sessions. Address questions and concerns to enhance overall understanding and proficiency.

• Must have a SECRET level clearance
• 6 years of Military experience and/or experience in Training and Development, or a related field.
• 6 years of experience in training technical communications equipment (ie SATCOM, RF, LAN/WAN)
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly for new equipment implementation.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Certification in Training and Development or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a relevant industry.
