AI/ML Engineer

Sev1Tech is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of network infrastructure, cloud, platform, system, application, and cybersecurity monitoring and analysis as well as event and incident management and response functions.  The objective is to better leverage advanced automation in performing routine and repeatable tasks, as well as tasks that require timely data analysis, pattern recognition, coordination of actions, and decision-making. Critical desired outcomes include: spending less staff time on manual tasks that can be automated; extending and optimizing automation of network and cyber operations and engineering tasks to improve quality, accelerate task accomplishment, and "do more with less".

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Analyzing current use of technologies and tools to execute business processes and perform network, cybersecurity, and program management tasks
• Recommend to contractor and customer management those business processes and network, cybersecurity, and program management tasks that are top candidates for the application of AI/ML driven solutions
• Participate with other project team members in establishing an agreed upon roadmap for such AI/ML solutions
• Conduct Proof of Concept solutioning to demonstrate the value of new solutions
• Architect, design, develop, and test AI/ML solutions for production use

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree

• At least four (4) years of developing AI/ML solutions and developing software
• Extensive knowledge of ML algorithms and data science
• Demonstrated experience using statistical and ML techniques - e.g., supervised and unsupervised learning, Natural Language processing
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Active Top Secret security clearance 
• Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance or higher; Public Trust clearance with Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) or Customs & Border Protection (CBP) preferred

• Experience delivering AI/ML solutions for DHS, DoD, and or the Intel Community
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or similar field
• Certifications:

• • Certified Artificial Intelligence Engineer (CAIE™) certification

  • AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty

  • Google Machine Learning Engineer Certification

  • TensorFlow Developer Certificate Program

  • Certified Artificial Intelligence Scientist (CAIS™)
• Demonstrated experience leading Research and Development projects
• Experience with cybersecurity data from SIEM, Endpoint, Network, or Threat Intelligence
• Experience with SOAR products and concepts
• Experience working in containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Knowledge of agile development processes and DevOps tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
