Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Contract Management:

  • Generate, negotiate and manage NDAs, TAs and other related agreements.
  • Solicit proposals from prospective subcontractors and work with the pricing department to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability
  • Negotiate and administer FFP, T&M, and CPFF contracts/subcontracts.
  • Prepare contract/subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations.
  • Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of contracts/subcontractors and make recommendations to management for potential corrective action
  • Interface with Project Control Analysts (PCAs) and Accounting Department regarding cost reporting issues
  • Serve as the main liaison with Vendor contracting representatives
  • Assess Vendor performance to identify the need for amendments of existing contracts

General Contract Management:

  • Attend weekly capture meetings and internal standups; assist in task tracking and note taking
  • Update Project Portals with project setup or modifications, as necessary.
  • Assist in Contracts Directors with department-wide projects

Expectations: This individual should be able to proactively work on their portfolio with intermittent oversight from their supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or related major
  • Minimum 2 years of contracting experience, Federal contracting experience preferred.
  • Experience interfacing with internal customers and all levels of organization
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to learn and effectively apply new resources, processes and procedures

Clearance Level: Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Approved Purchasing Systems
  • Experience working with FAR/DFAR, procurements regulations and legal specifications
  • Experience with supporting subcontract management teams
  • Experience with handling negotiations on behalf of the company
