Communications Engineer

Sev1Tech, LLC is seeking a qualified Communications Engineer to support a DOD Client. In this role, the Communications Engineer is responsible for the following items, including but not limited to:

• Provide assessments and evaluations on performance and feasibility of SATCOM, Terrestrial, and Mobile components of current and proposed DOD Client systems and architectures, including identification of performance, cost, and schedule risk, preparation of recommendations for consideration by the government. 
• Provide technical expertise to Army representatives during forums with external organizations concerning employment, acquisition, and development of communication systems.  

• BS degree in an engineering discipline.
• Shall have a minimum of fifteen years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, installation, modification, test and acceptance of SATCOM, Terrestrial, or Mobile communications-electronics equipment.
• Experience shall include a minimum of eight years in a communications engineering position working on DoD programs/projects.
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
