Lead Systems Engineer

The Lead Systems Engineer shall provide technical oversight and expertise for a wide range of Army Mission Command systems including networks as well as client and server infrastructures pertaining to development of Information Technology (IT) hardware systems to meet tactical Army program requirements. Functions for the Lead Systems Engineer include:

• Working with leading industry providers and developers of C5ISR products and capabilities.
• Working with Army programs to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot router, firewall, switch, voice over IP (VOIP), server, client, storage, and wireless systems per evaluation and demonstration efforts in both tactical and training environments.

• BS degree in a Information Technology related discipline.
• Basic and Advanced Tactical Network Training and have a CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

• Experience with performing project management services including strategic development of Commercial Off-The-Shelf Information Technology (COTS IT) processes and procedures
• Acquisition knowledge and experience with C2 technology developers with respect to market research and solicitations to include writing Requests for Information (RFI), conducting industry surveys and analysis, and providing assessments on behalf of Army programs
• Experience developing lab demos, proof-of-concept, evaluation of hardware and applications, research and development, testing new technologies and methodologies, including Service Oriented Architecture framework and associated design techniques, direct development of vendor commercial products and models of both functional and technical processes
