Overview/ Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Database Administrator to support PEO Soldier. PEO Soldier supports Soldiers by developing, integrating, acquiring, fielding, and sustaining products to provide significant improvements in battle command, situational awareness, survivability, and mobility of Soldiers. 


The Database Adminstrator possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. 


Duties include:

  • Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • Manage, configure, provision and optimize databases. 
  • Ensure performance of the database. 
  • Work with development, security and operations teams concerning future application and environment technologies, upgrades and testing
  • May supervise others. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Top Secret Level Clearance
  • 4 Yr Degree in IT or Similar or substitute 3 years experience providing IT related support.
  • 4 years providing Database Administration Support.

Desired Qualifications

  • 1+ years of PEO Soldier experience
