Overview/ Job Responsibilities

The Intermediate Facilities Manager serves as facilities coordinator with responsibility for coordinating, and implementing the organizations facilities program to include modification, maintenance and repair. 

  • Conducts investigations and studies of the effectiveness of facilities support efforts.
  • Coordinates with facility engineers, and safety personnel to assure that proper industrial safeguards are effected in accordance with established safety standards.
  • Coordinates maintenance and repair of assigned facilities.
  • Reviews work requests for modification, maintenance, and repair of assigned facilities for feasibility, adequacy, and assurance of compliance with regulations.
  • Inspects work to ensure proper accomplishment that installation of equipment is in accordance with specifications and meets functional needs.
  • Consults with engineering and operating personnel for resolution of unusual or problem cases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a Secret Clearance
  • Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • A minimum of ten years related experience or ten years related military experience.
