Intermediate Program Specialist

The Intermediate Program Specialist is responsible for a variety of administrative, business and operational functions necessary to run a government program(s) efficiently.

• Will review individual project progress, measure performance and recommend corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost as well as overall program accomplishments. 
• Analyzes project milestones and budgets.
• Documents and provides results of specific business process re-engineering initiatives and alternative action proposals.
• Monitors individual project objectives, milestones, and budgets within the overall program objectives.
• Prepares correspondence relevant to projects/programs.

• Must have a Secret Clearance
• Must have a Associates degree or completed a 2-year Technical School in Business or related field.
• A minimum of five years related experience or five years related military experience.

• Knowledge of DoD funding process, program office estimate (POE) development, and budget forecasting.
• Experience with DoD 5000, FAR, DFARS, and AFARS.
• Experience with Standard Operations and Maintenance Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
